This isn't about becoming cold or believing money is more important than love. It's about understanding that your life has multiple dimensions, and neglecting your financial foundation can create problems that romance cannot fix.
You don't have to stop believing in love. You just don't have to make finding love your entire life's mission. Build yourself, your career, financial stability and build a life you genuinely enjoy. Then, if love comes along, let it complement your life rather than become the thing your entire life depends on. Sometimes the relationship you need most isn't with another person.
